Your Purpose is Waiting on You

Have you or do you ever find yourself asking…”What is my purpose? How do I obtain my purpose”? We are sure that you answered “yes” and could relate to at least one of those questions. As a Therapist, I always find myself in conversations with people seeking a life filled and driven by purpose. We get the age-old questions “How do I find out what my purpose is”? Well, can I bust some myths and state some facts?
Myth 1: Purpose is something you seek.
Fact: The bible states that purpose was given to you before you were formed in your mother’s womb. ~Jeremiah 1:5
Myth 2: Purpose is hard to obtain.
Fact: Purpose is inside you. All you have to do is tap into it.
Today, I want to challenge you to stop seeking purpose and start seeking the Father, so He can give you the instructions to tap into purpose.

Prayer: Daddy, help us live this life with purpose, understand what you have purposed to do is already in us. Help us tab, maintain, and sustain the call on our lives. Allow us to be in a place to seek you always to gain another level of purpose. In Jesus Name! AMEN

Demand In The Earth, Dangerous Prayers (Part 1)

So, last week I told you about my transition and this week can I tell you about my dangerous prayer?

Ok, I know you are like a dangerous prayer… Yep, a prayer so dangerous that you are scared to even pray it because the consequences are so great and the process may feel unbearable. A prayer that comes with life-changing results and a stretch, tug, and pulls on your purpose and next. With all that being said and explained, let me tell you my dangerous prayer…

I was with one of my favorite sisters and she was on the phone with someone talking about the service that she offered through her company that she is the founder and CEO of.  (She is an international educator. She teaches all over the world and helps parents in and outside of the US become better educators for their children) As she continued her call I realize how much a demand my sister and her services were in the earth. I told her, “Sis you are truly a demand in the earth”…That’s when the dangerous prayer entered my spirit and came out my mouth… “Lord I want to be a demand in the earth”. I didn’t realize it was a dangerous prayer until three days later when I got an email saying… “Hey girl, I have been looking for you!” 72 hours after praying, GOD the manifestation of my words became my reality. So, I knew what I prayed had to be dangerous due to the quick turn around that took place.  A week after getting the email, I was on a call with another sister who told me, “Sis, I am glad you called me I need you to pray about your participation in a conference that I am having in October.” Look, let me tell you all something when I prayed that prayer, I was not really expecting results. OOOOOOO… Pause…Stop, back that up… “I said when I prayed the prayer I was not really expecting results”. How many times do we pray prayers without the expectation of seeing them manifest? I’ll wait, while you think of the many times you said prayers that you thought would take forever or never to manifest.

Let’s be real for a moment, we pray some prayers and expect GOD to do them right away, but there are times that we pray and before we say AMEN, we already thinking GOD ain’t about to do that for real.  But, we continue to pray the dangerous prayers not realizing the setup that we are creating for ourselves.

I know you are wondering what am I trying to tell you. Am I encouraging you to pray these dangerous prayers? Am I warning you about these dangerous prayers?  What am I telling you? I’m telling you both. I want to encourage you to pray these prayers, but be aware of what comes with them. Be ready to deal with the consequences or should I say the demand that will come with them. You will be the one that people seek out. You will be the missing piece of the puzzle. You will be the one that creates a demand on someone else. Do me a favor take time right now to pray your dangerous prayer (don’t read another line until you do). All it takes is one time, and that one time will cause you to pray more dangerous prayers.

Prayer: Daddy thank you for making us aware of the impact we can have on the earth if we are bold enough to pray dangerous prayers. Thank you for letting us know that we can be a demand in the earth, that you have purposed us to be a blessing to others, and create moments where you can move and breath life in situations. Thank you for allowing us to be what the earth needs for your glory. Thank that today we open our mouths with a heart of anticipation to speak the dangerous prayers that are needed for your victory to be seen. In JESUS name… AMEN!

#HappyLOVEDay!!! I am so excited about today even in my singlehood, because to day is a day of conquering for me. Today I shared with a group of sorority sisters… Something I don’t talk about a lot and haven’t shared with a lot of people. Today I told them that Valentine’s Day a.k.a Love Day is a trigger for me. About the age of I will say 22 I was madly in love and thought everything was about to fall in place in life. I was graduating and engaged.. But on V-Day that engagment ended and my heart was crush. I got over it and then 2010 on this same day my ex husband took my hand and declared his love for me at the altar. Romantic right?? But you did see ex in front of husband…lol After our divorce V-Day was never the same for me for 5 years on this day I would contemplate suicide, feelings of worthlessness would overtake me, and I would find myself in this deep depression. I would be smiling on the outside but tore up on the inside. I shared this with my sorority sisters and some where shock… The room got silent and heavy.. (I don’t like those moments) but it was then that I realize how free and delievered I was from this pain of 5 years. I was able to share it with truth. Why am I sharing this with you? Because the the standards of society can overtake the standards of GOD if we allow it. I had allowed this to happen to me and I had to let GOD love me back to his standards of love. I felt lost and confused trying to fit in, when I was already in, but the enemy had me feeling I wasn’t. I want you to know whether you have someone or not. The standard of the world’s idealogy of love will never outlast the standards of GOD’s love. Don’t allow your singleness overtake you that you miss the moments of GOD’s love, and don’t allow your security in having a spouse make you forget your first love. Also I want you to know that if it hadn’t been for yall loving me in those 5 years I would not be able to share this. Your love unknowingly saved me. So on today make sure you love on purpose. Spread the love. I know we should do this everyday, but take advantage of this day. Where the world is open to love and the idea of love and let someone know this doesn’t have to be a one day out of the year moment, but a everyday moment. Love you  and thank you for loving me with purpose and tension.

Goodbye and Hello

EEwww!!! I don’t know about you, but I am glad that 2016 is coming to an end. I am glad that I did not experience any really lost this year, but seeing my friends say goodbye to family members and helping them through the grieving process has been something else. Seeing people have what I have been praying for… I mean rolling on the floor, crying out to GOD about, and fasting for come to pass in their life with ease and me feeling like GOD had forgotten about me has been a test of true faith. But with all the bad came some good. Not only did I get one new job, I got two! I was able to see my sister work in her purpose, graduate with my third degree, and see numerous of friends get engage. What a great way to say goodbye to 2016 and hello to 2017. 

As I continue to share my Daddy Daughter Conversations for the fourth year I pray that three things take place in the heart of you the readers:

 1. You become inspired to stretch your faith to a level that makes you lose control.

2. You remember that Daddy loves you and that he is seeking to have many conversations with you. He wants to give you the plans, purpose, and favor you need to accomplish all the assignments that he has prepared for you.

3. You remember the power of your words and that you use them wisely. Remember that all it took was a word for GOD to create the earth. And that same power rest inside you.

Love you all and thank you for being open to reading the imperfections of my perfect love and conversations with our Daddy.

Prayer: Daddy as we say goodbye to one year and hello to a new one, we ask that you give us guidance to accomplish all that you have called us to. That we never miss a moment to communion with you. That we never take for granted the opportunity to be in your presences and express our love to you. Daddy, we ask that you correct us in anger, helps us control our flesh, and reassure us when our faith gets weary. We speak life to the dead things in our life, and we speak death to those things that hinder us from our purpose in you. We seek you more, not for your hand, but to see your face. We open our hearts to your love and our ears to your voice. That 2017 will not look like a reflection of 2016. We celebrate you on today Daddy, and we thank you for the opportunity to see a new year for so many will not be able to have the chance to start all over again. We thank you for the newness in our life, and before this year ends we celebrate everything you have purposed and favor us for no matter the time frame, Daddy we trust you more and more.

Trusting the GOD in You

Good Morning Readers!!!

It’s been a while since I have blogged and I do apologize I hope that my time management will be better since I have now shift into a new position, which by the way is what this blog is about. So let me see if I can tell this story as short as possible so that I can get to the meat. About 6 months ago I start getting indirectly bullied by a co-worker that has been in the field for about 20 plus years. She felt the need to tell me how to do my job to others and criticize how I get my work done. It even got to the point that she was having meetings with my direct and indirect supervisor without me. I finally got feed up and meet with her and my indirect supervisor. After the meeting, I felt like maybe somethings should ease up, but unfortunately, that was not the case and because of this stress started to cause hair loss and health problems. (Sidebar: What do you do when the enemy comes after your glory? Answer will be given later) Well of course like any other person I started to pray for instructions, answers, and directions. I got it! It was time for me go and move towards something new. It was not hard to swallow it was just hard to deal with the process of applying for jobs and not hearing anything for months. But let me tell you that GOD is Jehavoha Jira.. he will provide in his perfect timing and give you the desires of your heart. So today is my last day at a job that I have worked at for 4 years. I have learned so much, gain so many relationships, and had the honor of working with one of best friends, and it still hasn’t hit me that I am leaving.   What does that have to do with Trusting the GOD in You?  All through this process, I have learned how to do one thing Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turns away wrath. Because of my soft answers, speaking to the coworker that was bullying me, and being the example for those watching me, I learned how to trust the GOD in me. I learn that there are times GOD needs you to be the example even when you are going through, and even be a person of integrity even when you have the right to not be. To be in a position where show love when loving that person hurts. But the GOD in you says stand in trust me. Let me encourage someone right now. The enemy will present ways of escape that look like GOD’s but know that the illusion of his way will always get you back to where GOD told you to be in the first place. Stand still and watch GOD not only fight your battles but make your enemies your footstool. They will know who GOD is by the time you realize that victory has already been won on your behalf.

Prayer: Daddy trusting the GOD in me has been the most difficult thing to do in this season when it seems that everyone but me is getting the desires of their heart. Help me realize that your timing for me and my life is totally perfect and if I just stand then you show my enemies what victory looks like.  Daddy help me to trust your instructions, stand on your word, listen quickly and speak slowly. Help me to remain confident in this one thing that I will see the goodness of you. In Jesus Name. AMEN!

 

A Light

I can’t believe how long it has been since I have blogged. I have had a message in my heart (the same one) for the last two months. I hope that the release of this message comes at a time when you, my readers need it the most. For it to still resound in my spirit after two months I know that Daddy is wanting me to release it. Sidebar: Even in disobedience the heartbeat of your assignment and purpose will still rest, rule, and reign in your spirit. It may become even uncomfortable in your physical body if you keep holding it in. With that being said let me release what Daddy has called me to speak.

Matthew 5:14 (NIV) “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. When I first read this I was like ok Daddy what are your trying to say. Here is Daddy’s response to my question. 


 Daughter I am saying that your light is dim, yet your position on the hill still exist. My children have forgotten the power of what I have purpose, called, and assigned them to be especially in this season and hour. I am not looking for great demonstrations that cause movements within the earth, I am look for quite moments with me that causes my glory to shake the earth, that change must not be an option but an action. When I speak of you being a light it doesn’t mean that you have to speak for your light to shine., it means you have to be bold enough to shine. Know that no matter how much the world tries to place you in a box, a limited space that comes with boundaries, and disciples your light should not be hidden. You are my child, you have something in you that this world needs and to be the light on the hill you have to take a stand on my word and be bold enough to speak what I speak without the thought of judgment. WHO is MAN? Who is he that his law out rule the ones that I have give you? Who is he that your light for this world shines brighter than the one for my way, my word, and my will? He is only a creation that I formed for my glory. He lost his way in his will and  I as the father stand with open arms waiting on him to come back to his origin. I have positioned you to be beyond what this world is ready for. You can’t think like this world, you can’t be in this world, you can’t move like the world moves. I have called you to be always on top, always ahead, always in a position of authority. How dare you allow what the world continues to show you and place before you dictate how your light should shine. How dare you alter what I created to fit something that is enemy made! How dare you call yourself something that I never called you just to fit in?!? HOW DARE YOU?!? Listen my daughter this is not the season to be setup, but to be set a part. You are not who THEY say you are! You will NEVER fit the agenda of this world. PLEASE stop allowing the light in you be place in a position to be hidden, because it will never cannot be hidden. I YOUR FATHER, YOUR DADDY can only control how bright your light should shine, because it will never be dim. I love you and I need you to be the light that you are called to be with your brothers and sisters. Seek not the light of this world Daughter, but the light of my love. I love you and remember I have called you to be BRIGHT!
