Good Friday

Great Day Readers and Happy Good Friday!

This blog entry is going to be short and sweet and to the point. I really wanted to share with you my thoughts as we prepare for the end of Holy Week with Easter 2022 on Sunday.

I’m sure some of you are like me in asking why is today called Good Friday? When we know that on this day thousands of years ago Jesus had been captured, beaten, and going from judgment hall to judgment hall while being mocked along the way. As I was praying I got the revelation, today is Good Friday because we see the fruit of Jesus manifesting like never before. We see the actions of his teachings being done by him. He became the ultimate example today.  We see scriptures come alive and principles he taught being put into action by the teacher. His journey to the cross and our access to eternal life started today. That’s why it’s Good Friday. What should today teach us? 1) The process of our assignment and yes is not about us. 2) Don’t get discouraged when it seems like everyone is against you on your way to your next. 3) Live out your Yes and enjoy the fruits that manifest from it. 4) If they keep looking for an excuse to justify their actions towards you remember that victory and freedom are yours. 5) Your silence speaks greater volumes than any action you could ever make. 6) GOD will fight your battles even when you can’t feel Him.

May this short yet impactful message encourage you to see the actions of Christ on his way to the cross as a reminder of how great, good, and wonderful our Savior and Daddy are.

Prayer: Daddy thank you for allowing your son to be the ultimate sacrifice for our eternal life. We take notice and create moments to encounter your love for us during this time. We understand that Holy week is a designated time for us to observe, remember, and rejoice over the process of your son’s yes. Yes to your will, word, and way, and his assignment of dying so I can have direct access to you. We don’t take this week or his assignment for granted. We rejoice at the fact that because he said yes, we in return have the power and authority to speak things that are not as though they are. We love you and we thank you for loving us first. In Jesus’ Name Amen!

Life Alone

Hey readers!

I  know…. I Know… It’s been a while but in 2018 every thing is going to change. I am so excited about the faith leaps that are about to take place. But that’s not what this blog is about. Today I want to address an ongoing epidemic that has been going for, forever. The epidemic that causes depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, rejection, loneliness, self-esteem issues, disappointment, and just doubt. This epidemic is not always talked about nor is it addressed with a solution. As a matter of fact some don’t even see it as a problem actually a cure. I know you are wonder what is it…. It’s the epidemic that life should be lived alone.

Now let me gone ahead and tell you that this blog is not going to have any correct grammar in it. As a matter of fact I may not even re-read it to add or take away from it, because I want you to hear my heart. I mean the true rawness of my heart.

So I was talking with a sister of mine about how she was doing and feeling. She shared with me that she was feeling anxious because the one year anniversary of her mother’s death that was coming up and she did not know if she was ready to deal or handle the emotions that went with the day. As she continue to talk about how she was feeling, I share with her the why behind somethings that happen in September at a sister’s house and why I made it a priority to make her birthday extra special. As I disclosed about the situation I ended the conversation with this one statement: “Sis, Daddy never intended for us to live life alone, so you can’t do this by yourself.” Though she was in agreement with that statement, that statement did something to me. It may realize that we as people (believer or not) have been living life the wrong way. We have made an effort and put great energy into living life alone. When I tell you  that I never thought about how much we put into doing life alone…. Well, let me say I have never thought about how much I try to do life alone until that statement.

I mean think about it…. How many times have we made the statement ” I can do it. I got it. Don’t worry I will handle it”?  For me, more than I could count and think of . I know you are wondering how did I get the revelation that Daddy did not design us to do life alone. Can I give you two scriptures?

Let’s start at the beginning. Genesis 2:18 18 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” I know we see that scripture and automatically think that it applies to marriage, because after that Eve was created. But can I tell you that this does not just apply to marriage but all relationships.  Let me back that statement up with a scripture: Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor:10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.  See Daddy has given us a confirming word that we are not to do life alone. But why are we determine to do the opposite? Why are we so adamant to measure life success through life alone? I can’t answer these questions for you, but I can answer them for me and it is the most simple answer. Because the world says life should be done alone. But as believers we have to know that this is not the way that Daddy intended for us to live life, as a matter of fact, for us to live life alone would be going against the will of GOD. Yep I said it. To do life alone is going against the original will of GOD for us to do this thing called life. What if we live life with the idea of including others? What if we live life with the intent to create great relationships? What if we live this simple principle of relationship?

Today I challenge you to stop living life alone and start living life with the idea of establishing healthy relationship so that we can truly be in the will of GOD. A kingdom is not a kingdom without people and the body is not a body without parts. We must realize that life was never meant to be done alone it was then GOD would have not called us the body of Christ that is made of many parts. The letters that James, Paul, and Peter wrote to the church would not address how they treated one another or how they need to serve one another and others. I can go on and on but you get. Life was not meant to be lived alone. So stop trying to do what the world says is right and truly get back into the grace of GOD by learning how to live life with others.

Prayer: Daddy we thank you that you have not called us to live life alone and that you have purpose us for relationships. Thank you Daddy that though we try to do things on our own that we are more successful doing things together. Daddy help us become more aware of when we are outside of your will and how to get back to where you need us to be. Help become selfless and show ourselves friendly that we can maintain the relationships that you called us to. In Jesus Name! AMEN

A Daughter’s Cry for Her Sister

Daddy my heart continues to be heavy as I see the news stories, the tweets, the facebook messages, the engine searches, and the constant coverage of the death of my soRHOr my sister… Sandra Bland. Daddy I look at the video and the hate for the officer continues to rise, the disappointment of being a woman rings in my mind, the frustration of being black and educated continues to overcome my heart; I think to myself  how can I forgive someone that took the life my sister, who took a simple moment of frustration as a moment for him to flex his authority. How can I allow this moment of history making, epic news be a moment for your glory without feeling some type of way that’s not negative. Daddy my sister is dead. A woman full of purpose, life, and voice. Your Daughter is gone at the hands of a man or even  men who saw her as a problem, when you saw her as a solution. But what hurts the most Daddy I would have done the same thing. I would have cooperated but I would have told the officer that I know my rights and authority as well. I know the routine, I know what authority he carries, but I have some authority as well. Daddy my heart screams for you, for this is not a burden this is a cry of pain, hurt, frustrating, angry, and lost not just for myself, but my sisters nationwide. How dare they devalue us Daddy! Did you not call us precious rubies? Did you not call us priceless? Did you not call us your heart? Do we not have your last name? Daddy I can’t wrap my mind around the thought of this act, the evidence of my sister’s death, the disappointment of a system that speak of equal justice, but shows only favor towards certain people. Daddy this event has turn my world and others upside down. How do we get pass this moment? How we progress towards better? What do we do? Where do we go? Who do we run to?

Daughter please calm down I have heard your heart and the heart of your sisters and my people when it comes to this situation. Know this…. your sister didn’t die in vain… My purpose will always remain and my glory will out shine the evilness of this world. Daughter my heart hurts for you and your sisters. I know what she meant to many of you. I know her impact in the earth. I knew that this would not be an easy thing to handle or even accept for any of you. I know that her family seeks justice, I know the heart of the officer and his co-workers. Daughter I know what happen to your sister and all I need you to do is trust me. Trust my justice it’s greater than the thoughts of what you think your justice could bring. Trust my heart, that I will be the one that heals you, your sisters, and her family. Trust my revenge, because it’s big and greater than any plan of revenge you could come up with. Trust my love, because even in chaos and unanswered questions, my love will bring clarity. Trust my peace, because it will surpass all your understanding. Trust my war plan, all I ask is that you put your war clothes on and show up for the battle, I will take care of the rest. Trust my ways, for  my ways are not like you ways. How I handle things will bring forth a better outcome and create a movement that man can’t silence.Trust my timing, in my timing I produce perfection, though it may seem that my timing is off, remember this… I am an on time GOD! This is what I need you to do Daughter… as my daughter worship. For what you fighting is not a man but the assignments, ambushes, and attacks of the enemy. He is seeking to kill and destroy what I have created and unfortunately daughter it’s starting in your family. Daughter don’t allow what they report to dictate how you should respond. I am giving you clear instructions on how to respond and that’s by standing still, worship, love, prayer, remain in my faith and faithful, and trust. When you do this and hold fast to what I promise you will see the manifestation  of me and the shifting from defeat to victory. Daughter stay encourage know that Daddy has this under control. I know that this may be painful, but all my processes come with pain and sacrifice, but know that it’s all worth it. I love you Daughter and know that I am always here waiting for you. I AM… I AM and that’s all you need to remember.

~Love you Daughter of Mine

Prayer Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church Charleston, SC

I am sure you all have become aware of what happen last night in Charleston, SC at a church that was in the mist of prayer. Today with a heavy heart I seek to pray not just for this church and those affected by this event,  but the body of Christ. No longer can we sent in the corner observing the news, praying our simple prayers, we must take heed to the posture we should have as Children of GOD. So many times we see evidence of the return of Christ and this one is clearly one. When a person has the boldness to come in and sit for an hour in the mist of the word and prayer and not get convicted by their thought action or no one discern the enemy in the house of GOD we have to do something and quickly. It’s time to get back on our post of prayer and cover the body of Christ and this nation in the blood of Jesus. We have to pray for wisdom and we have to get.  #emauelame #prayer

Prayer: Daddy we know that there is nothing that happen on this earth that you are not aware of and because of that we know that you are aware of the heavy hearts of those affected by this horrible event. Daddy allow those affected to find peace and comfort in you. Let help their hearts not to harden towards a race or person, but become soft to the need of your love and sharing your love. Daddy let our nation see this as a call to draw closer to you, and the body of Christ to surrender to the ear of your instructions on what to do. Daddy help us to go into prayer with hearts of intercession realizing that we need more than just answers, we need equipment to fight the enemy with wisdom and not just emotions. Daddy help the body to know it’s time to unite and not fight. It’s time that we stand up in your standards instead of blending in with the world. Daddy you said in your word: if your people who are called by your name shall humble themselves, repent, and turn from their evil ways you will hear them and heal their land. Daddy we aren’t just asking you to hear us or heal us, we ask that you pour out your presence that we may bask in your glory and gain wisdom and insight on what posture we should have. Daddy we lift up every leader, minister, pastor, and family in the body of Christ. We lift up our nation’s leaders as they decide on what to do so this will not happen again or help in the aiding on how to prevent this from happening again. Give them wisdom on the direction they should take from the investigation to the conviction of the crime. Daddy we bind up the spirit of hate and fear, In the name of Jesus. Daddy we ask for the release of your boldness, the power of your love, the peace that surpasses our understanding, the comfort that settles all arguments and thoughts of the enemy, and the assurance of knowing that you will provide victory. Daddy remind the body of Christ that we do not war against flesh and blood, but principalities of wickedness, evil spirits, and the plans and schemes of the enemy. Daddy equip us with instructions on what position we should have as we deal with this and may more attacks on the body of Christ. Daddy we are well aware this has nothing to do with race, but with your name. This has nothing to do with a person, but a spirit and plan of the enemy. Daddy we know that no matter what your glory will prevail. Daddy we thank you for your wisdom, we thank you for the blood of Jesus, but mostly we thank you that your word will not return to us void. In JESUS Name. AMENAME red-black-green Sheild
