I Can Be

1Cor9:22-23 22 Among the weak in faith I become weak like one of them, in order to win them. So I become all things to all people, that I may save some of them by whatever means are possible. 23 All this I do for the gospel’s sake, in order to share in its blessings. (GNT) I love this scripture because it really speaks to the heart of knowing that Daddy is willing to be whatever he needs be to win your heart. In this scripture we see him pursue the heart of his children by placing himself in their shoes. Isn’t it like Daddy to go beyond just to show that he loves us? What a great Daddy that we have that he is willing to place himself in whatever position we are in so that we can win. What an act of pure selflessness.

Prayer: Daddy thank you that you love us so much that you are willing to place yourself where we are just to show your love towards us. That you are willing to come to our level that we may obtain and understand your love and benefit from the value of your selflessness. We thank you that in our weakness you become weak so that we may gain strength, thank you that you are willing to give us the blessing of your gospel no matter what level we may be on. Thank you that you are willing to go to any lengths to save us and establish a relationship with us In JESUS name. AMEN

I Won’t Argue Any More

Psalms 119:114 You are my defender and protector;I put my hope in your promise. Who is defending you? Who argues your case? If you say me then you have told Daddy that his defense is not good enough. Stop trying to defend what you truly don’t understand. Just because people said you are out of order, not in compliance, or crazy for believing. You don’t have to defend GOD he can do that himself and you don’t have to defend you he will do that for you too. Today rest in the hope that GOD has given you and allow Daddy to settle all argument concerning you, trust me can do it better and more effectively than you every could think or image to do it.

Prayer: Daddy today we lay every argument against us at your feet to defend. We know there are no amount of words that can bring clarity or justice to the arguments that are being brought up against us by the enemy and people, but we do know that in you there is hope and defense. Daddy no longer will we take over and do the job your didn’t call us to do. Today day we declare: no defense, no dialog, no distractions. We will no longer become engaged in conversations that you are growing us in and pruning in. You are our defender and protector and in you we take refuge. In Jesus Name. AMEN

I Can Change

Roman 12:2 (ERV) Don’t change yourselves to be like the people of this world, but let God change you inside with a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to understand and accept what God wants for you. You will be able to know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect.

I don’t know about you, but when change is in my vocabulary I always seek to change based on the world standards than Daddy’s standards. I know… I know as a Daughter of Daddy shouldn’t I seek his standards first. Of course! When I change or measure my change based on the world standards they never last long. I mean think about about many New Resolutions  you made   or even think about the habits you wanted to change based upon world measurements…How long did they last? Yeah mines didn’t last that long either, or they have last but with little slip ups here and there. But when I realize that the change I wanted  to make could not be successful based on the measurements  of the world that’s when I got the revelation that change must come from Daddy. Daddy has to be our measurement of how we change and he even gives us a formula on how to change to his standards and not the worlds. The formula is “LET GOD.” That seems simple I am sure, but is it truly? Let’s examine the words “LET GOD” this simply means that we take our will and surrender it to GOD. Our bodies become willing vessels to the actions, thoughts, and obedience to Daddy’s word. We transform from a selfish mindset to a selfless one. We surrender what is even in our control to the submission of GOD’s control daily. So is it simple?!? YES! Is it easy?!? NO. Because Paul reminds that daily we will have a battle of flesh vs. spirit. Paul says”  that the things we shouldn’t do we find ourselves doing, but the things that we should do we have a hard time doing. Then he says we have to die daily from our flesh and pick up the mantel of the spirit of GOD. The more I think about change based on the WORD alone it seems impossible. But nothing is impossible in Daddy and that’s why he tells us in Romans to LET HIM. If we try to change based on our own ability we would be messed up. But because our Daddy is great and he is the creator of all things, he can cause change to happen in a matter of seconds.

Prayer:  Daddy today we come to you yielding ourselves to your change. We know that change with our ability will cause destruction in our lives, but change in You causes success and victory. Daddy we surrender all. We surrender our life, that we may live for you and be use for  your glory. We surrender our hearts that we can love like you even when we are hurt by those that seem not to want or know how to love us back or know the right way to love us. We surrender our mouth, that our lips can only speak the life giving words of your word, only bring love, peace, joy, and encouragement to others. Daddy change us that we may be the city on the hill that  shining so others may see, know, and experience your glory. In Jesus Name. AMEN!!

Trusting More Than Me

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. (Proverbs3:5-6 AMP)

I am sure that Proverbs 3:5-6 is a familiar for some if not a lot. It’s the verse I know that I get quoted to me when I vent about situations in my life to my spiritual mom or any of my friends that are Christians. It was always the verse that I would open when I was in a place of analyzing situations and decisions in my life. It was defiantly the verse that I read when I am asking GOD what are you doing. It’s the verse that says to me “It’s Not Me.” It’s not my place to come up with the instructions, the solutions, or even the power of the manifestation of how it should work in my favor. It’s not me that should be doing the action in the sense of producing results or bring forth understanding of what I am doing.  But it is for me to lean, trust, and BE CONFIDENT in what Daddy is saying to me, told me, and telling me to do. It is for me to surrender my heart to the word and instructions of Daddy and allow him to give me understanding and insight. It is for me to recognize Daddy for who he is and what he is capable of doing and rest in that. It is for me to walk the path that he created before I was even thought of or born into this earth to walk in faith, knowing that the path is straight and if I should get off the path Daddy will make what I cause to be crooked to be straight again. It is for me to be the daughter and know that my Daddy only wants what is best for me.

Prayer: Daddy thank you for allowing us to know that our greatest confidence comes from us surrendering our hearts to you while letting go of our will and leaning and trusting on you. We know that so many times leaning on you may cause us to be in a place where we don’t move or even understand your instructions and for those moments we yield not to our understanding or insight but yours alone knowing that you will make crooked paths straight with your directions. Daddy today we let go of all of us and take hold of all of you. Rest in the assurance that Daddy you know what’s best for us and there is nothing greater than your best.  In Jesus Name Amen! The Crooked Roads Straight

Go to the Well

In John 4:1-41 Jesus gives a woman a life changing encounter with him. He meets the woman at the well. Now this woman is not a woman that Jesus should be associated with or even talking to, but he places himself in a position to ministry to those that seem unprivileged. In his conversation he talks to her about the topic of water… (And he should since he is at a well right?) Well this well is not an ordinary well, it’s the well of his ancestors. As Jesus continues to have this conversation, He then begins to reveal her to herself, as well as him to her. Isn’t it awesome when Daddy says to you, “come know me and let me tell you about you the good, bad, and ugly?” I think so, for him to take time out “his what we think busy schedule,” to have intimate moments with us is great to me. But going back to the woman at the well. After general conversation Jesus offers the woman water. I love it when Daddy offers us something that we think we have. I mean think about it the woman was already at the well prepared to retrieve water to drink, and here comes Jesus unprepared, asking for water, yet offering it at the same time. The woman at the well sees the unprepared Jesus and ask the one question (I think we all would ask if we were her)  “how can you ask for something when you are not prepared to receive it?” Hum that’s a lesson for us all… There are times we are asking Daddy for things when we are not prepared to even receive or even wise enough to handle. Let’s continue…Jesus gives a reply for his unpreparedness by saying that the water he has to offer doesn’t amount to what the woman came to retrieve. Daddy is always on top of his game he comes prepared even when it seem with the physical eye he looks unprepared. Jesus offers the woman him, and a relationship with  and the father by saying,“All those who drink this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring which will provide him with life-giving water and give him eternal life.” What a powerful way to let a person know that what they have truly been desiring is found in Daddy. I mean to know that this woman came to this well probably throughout her lifetime with her bucket, knowing the value of this water, and the water she really needs is found in waiting of a promise that she knows about. If you look through the scripture will see how she talk about the Messiah and Jesus says to her ” I am he who you are talking about.” In other words I am the Messiah in flesh, at the well waiting on you to receive me.” WOW!!! I would defiantly go that well…  Wouldn’t you? A well that would meet all my needs and even the needs that I knew not off and the manifestation of a promise that I only heard about. I doubt that the woman at the well knew she needed to be healed from the many husbands that she took on that weren’t her’s in the first place. I doubt that she even knew how thirsty her spirit was for the water that Jesus had to offer. And I seriously doubt that she knew that her everyday routine would yield the results of a life changing experience.

Prayer: Daddy thank you for the well, for we know that in you we will never thirst again. Thank you for the living water found through your son Jesus and the life of eternity that comes with it. Daddy so many times we find ourselves like the woman at the well, coming prepared to receive what we expect, and in return your will reveal areas that lack in our life that you are ready to heal and offer something so much greater than we expected.  Daddy we come to your well yearning for your water, waiting for your healing that we can share our testimony with others. We thank you Daddy that despite the issues of  our heart you are willing to offer your water to us. In Jesus Name. AMEN!
